Phil Silverberg is a creator. A creator in every sense of the word. Music is Phil’s first true love and passion. It wasn’t until later in Phil’s life, after he graduated from Lafayette College with an Economics/Business degree and Music degree, that he fell into photography. “My father is not a professional photographer, but he absolutely inspired me to want to document. My Aunt and Uncle are wonderful photographers as well. So, my interests was already there. It just needed to be cultivated.” After finishing college, Phil was part of a musical production team and bought his first camera simply to document life. “Quickly, I wanted to know why my photos didn’t look like magazine photos. I became obsessed with trying to make my work look professional. Luckily, I have some very talented friends that have served as amazing mentors.” In 2016, Phil dove all the way in and rented a studio in Brooklyn to begin shooting with NYC’s top agency models. Since then, he’s been published, and his work can be seen around the world.
